Explore TIMS MVP 6.1
TIMS MVP 6.1 is here with new enhancements designed to elevate imaging review, streamline workflow, and support deeper clinical analysis. Driven by customer feedback, the latest release introduces advanced tools healthcare professionals have been asking for.
You asked, we listened.
Introducing exciting new features that help streamline analysis and improve study outputs.
Recolor Annotation Tool
Instantly differentiate between important tracings throughout your study review. The Recolor Annotation Tool provides clear visual distinctions to reduce confusion and speed up quantitative analysis.
Clearer Visualization: Easily color-code different traced regions for faster, more accurate interpretation.
Complex Analysis Made Simple: Perfect for evaluating multiple measurements or anatomical regions within a single study.
Ideal Application: Highly beneficial when tracing multiple areas of residue or comparing separate structures and events.
Filmstrip
Review studies frame-by-frame in a dynamic 3x3 grid. Filmstrip lets you see the exact moments immediately before and after your selected image, making it easier to assess rapid swallowing and vocal fold events.
Customizable Views: Adjust the offset to show images 1 to 4 frames away, and zoom in or out for the perfect view.
Instant Documentation: Capture Filmstrip snapshots and add them directly to your reports for clearer education and documentation.
Ideal Modalities: Highly beneficial for endoscopic evaluations such as videostroboscopy, laryngoscopy, and FEES, as well as MBSS analysis.
Summation of Measures
Streamline your quantitative review with automatic summation. TIMS MVP now calculates cumulative values for multiple traced regions instantly, eliminating the need to do the math yourself.
Zero Manual Calculation: Quickly combine measurements into a single value to reduce your workflow burden.
Improved Consistency: Standardize your analysis and minimize human error.
Ideal Application: Especially useful for efficiently quantifying multiple areas of residue across different anatomical regions while keeping detailed visuals intact.
Channel Switching
Seamlessly toggle between multiple video sources during live acquisition. Channel Switching lets you transition between video sources without interrupting your workflow.
One-Click Transitions: Switch views instantly using a single on-screen button or the F9 keyboard shortcut.
Alternative Modalities: Easily access live input from different cameras or modalities in real time.
Ideal Application: Perfect for endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other endoscopic procedures that require monitoring multiple camera feeds simultaneously.
Worklist Filters and Similar Patient Name Alert
Take control of your study management and safeguard patient data. TIMS MVP 6.1 introduces two smart workflow tools designed to help you find the right study faster and prevent selection errors.
Built-in Column Filters: Quickly sort and display studies based on key criteria so you can locate exact information in seconds.
Similar Patient Name Alerts: Automatically flag worklist entries with similar last names and first initials.
Enhanced Patient Safety: Clear visual warnings help prevent accidental selection mistakes before they happen.

New/Open: button is now a split button, with multiple options, depending on context, in a convenient dropdown menu.
Emergency Start: Available in both Worklist and Studies tabs. Emergency Start loads a new study with pre-populated study information so the user can select OK to start a new study. You can manually update the study with the correct patient information at any time, or match to a worklist entry with the Update Patient Info feature.
Update Patient Info: This existing feature has now been conveniently added to the New button dropdown in the worklist tab, simplifying the process.
New Study Based On: This existing feature has been conveniently added to the dropdown in the studies tab, and is available with a study selected.
-
Some columns now feature built in filtering. Hovering over these columns will reveal a dropdown menu which contains all unique entries in the column, selecting from this list will automatically filter the dashboard to display only items containing the selected data.
-
Study export now has a dedicated button on the study dashboard, supporting single or multi-study export with a single click.
-
Study delete now has a dedicated button on the study dashboard. Supports single or multi-study delete.
-
New Shortcut for Quickphrases: Entering .? in a report will now bring up quickphrase selection.
Multi-Quickphrase: You can now select multiple quickphrases from the popup to enter them in the order selected.

These color changes provide a visual cue for the user identifying similar entries to enhance patient safety.
-
Add a sharpness filter using the unsharp mask algorithm (Gaussian blur via SVG). Moving the slider adjusts the filter intensity.
-
TIMS Send of Large Studies: For applications with very long studies such as surgical imaging, large studies of over 4GB (includes multi-hour studies recorded in MP4) can now be sent to TIMS Review systems using TIMS Send, rather than DICOM send which is limited by specification to 4GB per study. This enables the full TIMS Review workflow to edit and extract portions of these large studies for archiving and other applications.
