Whether you’re interested in learning more about customized reporting, kinematic analysis, standardized scoring, or protocol mode, our training courses have you covered.
Basic Training for Rad Techs: MBS Studies
The basic training is a class for end users to learn about the workflow and software tools. Topics include recording, reviewing, editing, and archiving to PACS/VNA. This online training is approximately 30 minutes in duration.
Basic Training for SLPs: MBS Studies
The basic training is a class for end users to learn about the workflow and software tools. Topics include recording, reviewing, editing, and archiving to PACS/VNA. This class also offers a deeper dive on the post-study analysis tools. This online training is approximately 60 minutes in duration.
Skills Lab: MBS Studies
The skills lab is a hands-on guided training for end users to practice the workflow and software tools that were reviewed in the Basic Training. This online training is approximately 30 minutes in duration. Mouse/trackpad and keyboard required.

The basic training is a class for end users to learn about the workflow and software tools. Topics include recording, reviewing, editing, and archiving to PACS/VNA. This class also offers a deeper dive on the post-study analysis tools. This online training is approximately 60 minutes in duration.
Skills Lab: FEES Studies
The skills lab is a hands-on guided training for end users to practice the workflow and software tools that were reviewed in the Basic Training. This online training is approximately 30 minutes in duration. Mouse/trackpad and keyboard required.
Creating Note & Report Templates
This is an advanced training class for end users to learn how to customize and effectively use scorecards, snapshots, quick phrases, notes, and reports. This training class also covers EMR integration. This online training is approximately 60 minutes in duration.

Our virtual training is an added benefit included with Support & Maintenance. Provided by clinical specialists, it is designed to improve the implementation of tools backed by evidence and increase efficiency in patient care and research initiatives.

Meet our Course Instructors
Shannon Marks, MS, CCC-SLP
West & Central Training Manager
Shannon Marks is the West and Central Training & Demonstration Manager at TIMS Medical and a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Shannon holds degrees from Penn State University and La Salle University and has extensive experience working with adult and geriatric populations across the continuum of care—including acute care, outpatient, independent and assisted living, and skilled nursing settings. She is passionate about expanding access to instrumental evaluations and supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Megan Vas, MS, CCC-SLP
East & Central Training Manager
Megan Vas serves as the East and Central Training & Demonstration Manager at TIMS Medical, bringing a wealth of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in dysphagia within medical settings. Her passion for enhancing instrumental evaluation access stems from firsthand experience in environments with limited resources. Joining TIMS Medical, Megan is dedicated to empowering fellow SLPs by ensuring they have access to essential tools for optimal patient care. She is inspired by TIMS' commitment to supporting SLPs and advancing the field.
Brooke McGivern, MS, CCC-SLP
Director of Marketing Communications
Brooke McGivern is a member of the TIMS Medical leadership team, an adjunct professor, and serves patients in the acute care, inpatient, and outpatient rehabilitation settings. She is a three-time recipient of the ASHA ACE Award, the ASHA Distinguished Early Career Professional (ECP) Certificate and is a graduate of the ASHA Leadership Development Program. She is passionate about improving clinician access to resources for evidence-based practice and leadership development. Brooke is currently a clinical doctorate student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions with expected graduation date in 2026.
