2026 Vanderbilt FEES Course
Event Information
TIMS Medical is proud to support the 2026 Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing Certification Course at Vanderbilt, taking place May 1–2, 2026. This in-person course provides clinicians with foundational training in FEES, including safe endoscope handling and interpretation of swallowing function across pediatric and adult populations. Through a combination of didactic instruction and supervised hands-on practice, participants will meet Tennessee’s didactic training requirements and complete several of the passes required by the state.
Course content will guide attendees through anatomical landmark identification, safety considerations, comparative analysis of FEES and VFSS, validated rating scales, documentation essentials, and legal and regulatory guidelines. Pediatric-focused instruction will also address preparation, troubleshooting, and exam customization across age groups.
TIMS Medical is honored to support this training by providing on-site access to TIMS MVP software and a variety of USB FEES scope options for participants to use during supervised passes. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with streamlined endoscopic capture, review, and archiving workflows, and learn how TIMS tools enhance standardization, documentation quality, and interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical practice.
We look forward to supporting clinicians as they build competency, expand their FEES skills, and strengthen access to high-quality swallowing diagnostics within their communities.
