(San Antonio - TX May 16, 2010) Foresight Imaging shows new telemedicine
imaging portal, collaboration, and mobile smart phone products at the ATA
annual meeting and exhibition in San Antonio. In addition to providing
connectivity and collaboration with standard medical video cameras for
traditional telemedicine, these new TIMS products provide real-time
connectivity and collaboration for clinicians across networks for high
resolution diagnostic imaging procedures, surgical cameras, healthcare
monitoring & telemetry streams, and more. Physicians and other caregivers
can collaborate and communicate over networks via standard computer systems,
laptops, tablets, mobile smart phones, and new devices such as the iPad.
These networked collaboration systems completely change the mechanism of
clinical healthcare by enabling care-giving teams the ability to connect to
any medical imaging procedure or DICOM study and communicate and collaborate
to better deliver high quality, safe, and efficient care to patients.
TIMS Consultant: A networked system that allow clinicians at various
locations to view and participate in a live medical or diagnostic imaging
procedure. Participants have full annotation and telestration capability to
emphasize or highlight areas of the live video stream. Multiple video
sources and multiple clients can be used with the TIMS Consultant.
TIMS Collaborator: Includes all of the functionality of the TIMS
Consultant, and adds the breakthrough capability of multi-client
collaboration on live video streams, stored images or videos, and DICOM
studies from PACS & EMRs. Participants can store annotated graphics on the
stored images, videos, or studies and save them as DICOM files. The
resulting files can then be routed to PACS or EMRs for a record of the
collaboration session.
TIMS Mobile DICOM: Enables physicians and clinicians to quickly view DICOM
studies on their mobile smart phones, truly enabling the concept of ³Medical
Images‹Anytime, Anywhere.² Any DICOM study can be retrieved from PACS and
reviewed on mobile smart phones such as the Blackberry and iPhone. The new
iPad is also supported.
TIMS Mobile Consultant: A breakthrough application that empowers physicians
to view live diagnostic imaging procedures (fluoroscopy, ultrasound,
endoscopy, etc.) or surgical camera video on mobile smart phones.
