TIMS 3.0 Platform Released

(Chelmsford, MA – February 15, 2013) The TIMS Medical division of Foresight Imaging releases the TIMS version 3.0 platform. This new platform for their flagship TIMS DICOM System includes a new, more powerful computer platform, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit operating system, and a software upgrade with many new productivity and workflow improvements.

The new TIMS computer platform includes a powerful Intel Core i3 processor, 4 GB of memory, a 500 GB hard drive, CD/DVD-RW, and a high performance Foresight Imaging PCIe x4 analog & digital video acquisition board. This supports video acquisition from all medical imaging devices including the newest fluoroscopy and endoscopy systems featuring high resolution DVI-D and HDMI based 1080p video. Additionally, the new platform is slightly smaller than the previous generation and is appointed in the “TIMS Blue” color scheme.

The version 3.0 software upgrade includes a number of new features to improve productivity and workflow including PDF attachments as DICOM, frame range editing enhancements, save to CD/DVD as AVI, a new stand-alone DICOM viewer, more archiving options, and much more.

(San Antonio - TX, May 16, 2010) Foresight Imaging shows new telemedicine imaging portal, collaboration, and mobile smart phone products at the ATA annual meeting and exhibition in San Antonio. In addition to providing connectivity and collaboration with standard medical video cameras for traditional telemedicine, these new TIMS products provide real-time connectivity and collaboration for clinicians across networks for high resolution diagnostic imaging procedures, surgical cameras, healthcare monitoring & telemetry streams, and more. Physicians and other caregivers can collaborate and communicate over networks via standard computer systems, laptops, tablets, mobile smart phones, and new devices such as the iPad. These networked collaboration systems completely change the mechanism of clinical healthcare by enabling care-giving teams the ability to connect to any medical imaging procedure or DICOM study and communicate and collaborate to better deliver high quality, safe, and efficient care to patients.

TIMS Consultant: A networked system that allow clinicians at various locations to view and participate in a live medical or diagnostic imaging procedure. Participants have full annotation and telestration capability to emphasize or highlight areas of the live video stream. Multiple video sources and multiple clients can be used with the TIMS Consultant.

(New York, NY – November 18, 2009) Foresight Imaging introduces TIMS Fluoro-TRACE™, a system for providing live, interactive, road-mapping in high resolution for interventional radiology, angiography, and vascular surgery applications, at the VEITHsymposium™ in New York. TIMS Fluoro-TRACE allows the physician to electronically draw or telestrate during live fluoro on the touch-screen monitor with a stylus. This telestration can then be used as a road-map to guide a catheter or perform an intervention during live, un-subtracted fluoro. In addition to road-mapping, TIMS Fluoro-TRACE is ideal for training and mentoring. With the live annotations, a trainee can confidently position devices as marked by the instructor. Further, all road-mapping and annotations can be saved with the study in DICOM format so that a record of the procedure can be sent to any PACS system.

About the TIMS DICOM System

Hospitals and imaging clinics around the world need to convert their non-DICOM medical modalities to DICOM. Upgrading or replacing these modalities is too expensive, often costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. Replacing all of the non-DICOM devices for PACS connectivity purposes is simply not cost-effective. The solution is the TIMS DICOM System. TIMS converts any non-DICOM medical modality to DICOM.
