TIMS can be easily integrated into your radiology workflow. TIMS is based on a Windows XP Professional platform, so anyone who is familiar with the Windows interface will find TIMS quite intuitive to use. After a brief training session that is included with your purchase, anyone who will be using the system will feel very comfortable with the TIMS interface. Digital radiology does not have to be complicated, in fact we have made certain that it is as simple as clicking a mouse.
Your legacy equipment does not need to be upgraded in order to enjoy all of the advantages of a fully digital system. With TIMS you can convert analog (non-DICOM) images to digital (DICOM standard) and manage these images as needed. You can query a work list, capture images and then send to PACS. TIMS also enables you to burn to a CD or DVD, send to a Windows or DICOM printer, and convert the images to AVI and JPG, file formats for publication and distribution. Think of the time, space and money to be saved by converting all of your radiology equipment to digital. If you have not yet connected to your PACS, simply store patient studies on CD or DVD instead of bulky and expensive film and videotape. If you have a PACS, convert those last few modalities to DICOM without exhausting the department’s budget. With TIMS, any modality in the radiology department can be fully digitally enabled without investing in new DICOM equipment.
